Why’s

Bored stiff, student learning to decide how to behave when bored.

Aversion needs to be manageable,

Whatever the anger, breaking it into smaller pieces until you can accept the feeling without doing harm.

Whenever a craving results in harm, break it down until you can accept the feeling without doing more harm.

Practice dealing with aversion until all aversion is manageable.

Then start with whatever topic brings up desire, breaking it into smaller pieces until you can accept the feeling of desire without doing harm.

Whenever a desire results in harm, break it down until you can accept the feeling without doing more harm.

Practice dealing with desire until all desire is manageable.

This practice is easier said than done, it requires a lifetime commitment.

I am a lifetime student of aversion and desire.

Universal Peace and Happiness

The Dalai Lama said, the ultimate source of peace is n the mind-which, far more than our circumstances, determines our happiness.

CBCT or Cognitively Based Compassion Training is the next big tool for teaching the trait of loving kindness.

Accordingly, the person learning to be more compassionate is the first to benefit.

So, even if you don’t love the world today,

even if you don’t love your enemy today,

You can learn to love yourself using CBCT.

Another words, you will be a source of peace and happiness in everyone’s life.

Do you want to try CBTC or learn how to be more peaceful and happy?

Grasping The Truth

Feeling the whole,

Sensing it with all my being,

Calibrating the life experience with closure, opulence and pregnancy.

The accumulation of the qualitative and quantitative information bits.

Struggling to remain human during this process.

Asking and receiving, giving and being helpful and learning a thing or two.

Making mistakes, doing wrong and trying to make up for it.

There is always some good, bad and ugly.

Life is like that.

The Positive Side Of Solitude (This is a description not an indictment)

img_0543Deep visualization reveals an animation like a comic strip.

With this core focus, there is a deep sleep and quiet.

A joyful kind of aloneness is being able to contemplate in a still, peaceful and calm manner.

It’s like being alert within the mind in your own wilderness.

At this level of awareness, nothingness seems possible, but being alive and happy about it is part of the satisfaction felt during this altered state of mind.

Here mindfulness of the relaxation kind can help relax the body and therefore the brain.

Being alone does not need to be all about mental pushups.

The relaxed, resting brain allows the mind to relax and rest in a calmer stillness like ‘Walden Pond’ and Henry’s David Thoreau’s cabin in the woods purpose.

An awakening mind may find solitude in this kind of silence.

During times of less mental chatter and very little visualizing, a kind of white noise/starkness begins to emerge like a deep meditation.

There are times when being by oneself is identical to standing mentally beside oneself in the observation mode.

Again, it is like practicing meditation to acquire the outcomes like focus, awareness, stillness, silence, calm absent from all the strong negative emotions like anxiety, anger, depression, self pity, resentment etc.

What Is Worth The Argument?

To have faith or believing in arguments that conclude in virtue,

To question and inquire how to be noble in conduct and behaviour,

Not for the sake of behaviour, conduct, virtue, argument or faith,

But to learn not to act on needless desire, assertion, impulse, repulse or moral certitude,

And to practice doing this process in all our affairs,

As if logic itself is the product of such a process.

True sensitivity helps us respond to our reaction, impulsivity, repulsiveness and unwanted desire,

This hard work heals our souls with good decisions that lead us to the proper use of those behaviours, conductors, virtues arguments and faith.

Not the other way around…

Michael’ Secrets

Perhaps ‘private practice ‘ is a better term.

I usually make a first and second draft.

Why fly without a net, I can see why I might keep money secrets, writing secrets, blog secrets.

Being anonymous has similar benefits,

Preparation is better than sloppy craft or a poor choice.

‘Do no harm’ is my motto, better ‘Michael’ is my goal.

Shadow Work And The Facade Of Being Too Sentamental

I sicken myself with a barrier of sweetness and niceness.

My grief is barrier by my foolishness of sentimentality.

But am I ready to know my pain and suffering?

This work is dark and full of bad habits that numb all feeling.

Judgement

Don’t make things into good and bad,

It’s not my job.

Passion gone astray,

Illusion is a mental demonstration of insanity.

Don’t act on reaction,

It’s not a very good job.

Rehearsal may make a good practice,

But bad habits are bad habits.

Don’t avoid decisions,

Some are good and some are bad.

Practice helps sort the good from the bad,

With support from family and friends life’s problems can be overcome.

Learning to live will make the experience a work of art.

The art of living is just another way of expressing the ‘good life’.

Giving Up My World or Dream

“…don’t make dreams your master,

Don’t make thoughts your aim.”

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-to-let-go-of-materialism/

To have an intrinsic goal like finding more joy and happiness in my life,

To create habits like mindfulness, meditation, journaling and blogging,

Practice good nutrition, exercise, sleeping

Practice listening and learning,

Be a good person or live the good life,

Do my opus,

The ‘why’ or answer is to practice philosophy because it ads more to life than it takes away,

Philosophy can show a good way to renew the present.
