Who on this planet is up for change and will risk their life for it?

Will it be an internal or external event?

Most likely a little of both.

What will you do to revolutionize yourself and the planet?

International Day of Peace

The United Nations’ (UN) International Day of Peace is celebrated on September 21 each year to recognize the efforts of those who have worked hard to end conflict and promote peace. The International Day of Peace is also a day of ceasefire – personal or political.

The more important question is about day two.

There is a need for continuing the work to a final conclusion:365 a year.

With this actuality, progress can continue to be strived for with concrete outcomes and a direction to improve on the day to day peace, ad infinitum…

Individuals need to be engaged, repeatedly to attempt a dialogue and affirmative action for ongoing continual peace.

John Lennon said it best, “Give peace a chance.”

Day by day, an actual scale to approach for everyone, in a spirit of collaboration and cooperation.

The Plight Of Getting It Right

Every new habit has its ups and downs,

But TV watching is a pseudonym for alcoholic without drinking in self destruct mode, but watching anything in self destruct mode!

I need to eat 3 meals a day, sleep 7 hours, work 8 hours and travel for an hour= 24 hours – 19 hours=5 hours

5 hours to live the good life each day.

But one hour is spent preparing for the next day. That leaves 4 hours watching TV.

After 50 years of viewing 4 hours a day, I have spent 20 or so years trying to change this bad habit.

Being addicted to TV 📺 is a slow suicide!

I have a plan to do something else each day. I am replacing it with playing guitar, listening to music, exercise, waking, going to the library, journaling, reading and writing, learning and much much more…

Anything but TV!

What is your poison?

Give it up.

I am one to talk.

Child Abuse Is Plain And Simple

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turpin_case

Children’s rights are front and centre when considering extreme examples of child abuse.

The world may harbour many more problems for the special needs of children.

We need a charter for children’s rights to help support the legal rights and obligations for them.

Celebrating Gratitude

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gratitude_journal

I have been journaling my whole life.

I also like to write, blog and research.

Today I have reached the halfway mark of my daily “Be Great, Be Grateful: A Gratitude Journal for Positive Living” by Patternity.

I love poetry and blogging, I thing I’m nuts about the writing more than any specific element.

I like language, nuances, details, logic, reason, creativity, the narrative, the archetypal ideas, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, behaviour, being and people.

So, I am discovering I am grateful in the same passionate way.

I think I will simply carry on with my grateful journal or repeat it.

Partly, it has helped me focus my goals.

I am more concerned about being than doing.

Therefore my goal is to learn how to sleep better.

I believe in being better or happier being who I am.

I am not doing this for material gain or to gain anything.

I find it a challenge to put into words: do no harm but live a healthy life.

So I am celebrating all the above by sharing it with you.

Thanks for following my entry today.

Although it is good to have technology and the transfer of knowledge is also usually a good thing, we still need to be a critical thinker, even a skeptic about the use and application of the truth.

Teacher Vs. Student: The Way

In the east, there is a mystical presence felt by those in the west. In this dialogue, the teacher shows the student how to find the power in breathing for compassion, simplicity and patience.

Teacher: You must breathe in your belly to calm your body. Or into your chest to warm yourself and accept your pain.

Student: how do I find balance, when do I breathe one way or the other?

T: Just breathe and ask me again when you know the answer.

Student: Will I ever know?
