Grab A Meeting With Society’s Daughter

People today, meet less and text more. Women meet and argue about what look they will use to move us forward from the millennia of awkwardness and backwardness. They will claim the power they need to contribute to this move and engage all along the path to a better future.

Dante is curious to know her mind.

Beatrice leaves her girlfriends to engage the observer.

Beatrice: Hello, my eyes invite you to a conversation. Have you not to say?

Dante: You ask too much from this asp. I must delay.

B: Surely, you prattle on about my whimsy?

D: I like the look of you, what will you do?

B: First, I will say how backwards this seems to me. And I invite my girls to participate.

D: My boyfriends are ready to jump in and make some moves.

B: Good, humanity acts like a fool. Can you stave your knave and avoid me?

D: I can, but at what expense?

B: Power and envy will get us nowhere.

D: Why play with words?

B: Because that is all you can see, I want to move forward.

D: Very well, I agree.

Notes On My Meditation

It’s like watching the fruit ripen or fall from the tree.

When I exercise, I become whole and transcend my problem in life.

It is like going to work for my ‘well being’ rather than a buck or someone else.

I have noticed how my mind slips when it comes to taking care of myself.

I avoid hope and self-control when I skip my meditation, journaling and walks.

But I am a citizen of the world and I am grateful for all of it, even my small part, even myself.

I am a work in progress.

So, as I work on my weakness by using my strength, I am becoming better and better.

I’m starting to laugh about my biggest mystery, a belief in everyone and everything while still being able to believe in myself.

To me, it always seemed like ‘trying to attain perfection’ or having your cake and eating it too!

But it turns out my job or calling is to share the wealth, the ‘good life’.

It use to seem so selfish, but that’s the mystery.

Us:  We need to live the good life for ourselves.

Me:  another way to look at it, is I need to live the good life for myself.

“I am Groot.”

Just in case you are off planet, Guardians Of The Galaxy 1&2, has a character who has become An internet sensation.

Every time I say, “I am Groot.” I get a smile on my face.

I am in a good state of mind.

It is easy to do no harm when one is in a good state of mind.

But the exercise is to calm any state of mind and thereby do no harm.

This is the foundation for finding the good life.

With this one tool an individual can practice meaning, grow in a meaningful way and actualize a useful life work.

Join a revolution of one: practice owning your state of mind and learn to do no harm. Strive for peace and good will, practice nonviolence.

The Power Of Meditation

Hard, untiring, infitiquable labor to quiet the madness in our mind…

The mind is an instrument like the body.

It can be tuned and used by learning to practice meditation.

Meditation is a technique that helps us untie emotional and mental knots commonly called bad habits.

As we begin to understand that our bodies are powerful instruments, we can learn to change what we use our minds to do.

To master the body and mind often teaches us how to get rid of long standing problems through hard work of meditation.

Getting control of the body, mind and senses allows the user to practice good habits.

In this sense we may learn to stop the practice of what we call bad habits:  being too angry, avoiding habits like study or sleep, smoking, drinking, over eating, doing too many drugs, etc.

We can learn to do things in a calmer way, that allows us to be less compulsive or obsesssed, angry, depressed, anxious, etc.

Meditation teaches us to regulate the body and mind through the practice or habits of being calm.

It is best to learn about all the different programmers that teach meditation.  They all lead to the same results.

Anyone can use meditation to increase health, improve energy, quiet the senses or sense of security and calmness, or adequacy, steady improvement of personal relationships, improved concentration or focus, mostly it brings out our awareness of beauty and our own ‘opus’.

In a sense this is the reason meditation is done with the attitude of non-violence.

Gratitude and Gratefulness…a kind of blissful essence

Love to show people how much they mean to me…

I love my apartment and I love this little shelter. I found at the bottom of the stairs: it was made by a homeless man.

He took a bench from the apartment and carried it down the concrete stairs to set up in his new hide-a-way. He had other accessories: candle, flint-lighter, blanket, ashtray, cup and saucer, and other clothing and food. He managed to stay a day or two until he was kicked out…

I am grateful he had a day or two…

I am grateful for my faculties Of thought, feelings, and beliefs…

I love my action, body and mind…

I love doing no harm to others…

I am grateful for my mistakes…

I am grateful for my recovery and relapse…

I am 100% grateful, at the moment, it is the most important part of me,like a touch stone…

I know I cannot be this way all the time…

I know I will continue to succeed and fail in many ways till my end of days…

But I wouldn’t give up this moment…

For me it is a lifesaver…

Just Another Moment Of Positive Psychology…

Reading The Writing On The Wall

It says there is a limit to people, places and things.

This is important when trying to assess the use or how to treat oneself or others.

The proper use of impressions is like having a moral compass with problems we are faced with in our day to day lives.

Sometimes it is best to follow the rules or tried and true methods worked out by previous generations.

The past has paid dearly for all the answers, wealth and experience past down from our people, countries and more…

Presently, we are learning much and receiving much that is roughly described as good bad and ugly.

And the future holds more of the same.

Yet, moral discernment is a complex ability.

We need to use it in all manner of ways.

Today I fail.

Again, and again, and then, perhaps I will learn to set myself right.

In this same sense, some of us live and learn to some degree…

What we write on this wall is a true measure of our moral responsibilities.

I like to read and believe ever word on this wall of ours.

May we all contribute many more paragraphs….

Meditation: calm, still, silent (do no harm)

Awareness is a continuum between relaxation on one side and concentration on the other.

Calm is in the middle. Strive for calm to find the balance between the two.

Outwardly, it is a motionless human body. Paying attention to the calm body is a balance between relaxation and concentration. In this second way, the form is to sit with stable legs and hip using a natural curve in the spine as the support.

The third way is a calm being. This means to pause from speaking. Let go of the habit to verbalize. Allow the inner critic or commenting to pause.

The practice is called learning to sit quietly in a room with the self: meditation.

Practice all three ways to learn how to meditate.

To become aware:

calm-the-body,

calm-the-mind,

calm-the-voice.

Pause the body,

Pause the mind,

Pause the voice.

Calm, still, silence: do no harm.

Meditate in all your affairs.

Happy Mind

Calm, still, silent, do no harm.

To love meditation,

To experience the present, the breath, the body, the mind,

To experience the light of the mind,

This is a reflection of your mind.

The other five senses totally disappear.

Going into the light, enormous happiness, bliss,

Do not be afraid of such pleasure,

It should be followed and developed.

Experience the pleasures of the mind.

This is the ‘happy mind’.

Do nothing, be Tao, loose the body and mind.

This is ‘waking up’.
