Earth Day April 22, 2018

The slogan this year is to consume less and pledge more…

There is too many plastics being consumed and I pledge to cook more food and buy less plastic.

I will ‘put my money where my mouth is’ and pledge more cash and resources into getting kids more playing time outside.

Climate Change is a good cause to help in the year to come, going to earth day is a proper way to change myself.

I need to read and write and therefore research this day today!

Reading The Writing On The Wall

It says there is a limit to people, places and things.

This is important when trying to assess the use or how to treat oneself or others.

The proper use of impressions is like having a moral compass with problems we are faced with in our day to day lives.

Sometimes it is best to follow the rules or tried and true methods worked out by previous generations.

The past has paid dearly for all the answers, wealth and experience past down from our people, countries and more…

Presently, we are learning much and receiving much that is roughly described as good bad and ugly.

And the future holds more of the same.

Yet, moral discernment is a complex ability.

We need to use it in all manner of ways.

Today I fail.

Again, and again, and then, perhaps I will learn to set myself right.

In this same sense, some of us live and learn to some degree…

What we write on this wall is a true measure of our moral responsibilities.

I like to read and believe ever word on this wall of ours.

May we all contribute many more paragraphs….

Standing Against The Tide

Caring about the environment is like being on the fence in today’s media swollen society. With countless collectives, left leanings, and political correct academics, is there a voice for the student naturalist?

Be a student ecologist.

Be a student of science.

Be a student of psychology.

Be a student of philosophy.

Be a student of common sense.

Be an innovative, business oriented worker.

Don’t be afraid of all the stuff that alarmists try to convey.

Be a healthy skeptic but be yourself.

Try to put your money and behaviours where your mouth says you are bound to enjoy.

Try to implement some of the good ideas into your lifestyle.

The Disease Called Loneliness

“Excuse me,” a young woman raises her hand on the bus. “Does anyone know when to pull the bell to get off at the mall?”

Meanwhile two other young women turn to each other with grimacing disapproval.

The individual is building self esteem and keeps low expectations.

The paired couple are attempting to discourage this young woman’s building her self-esteem.

The pattern of any person learning to get their needs meet can be taught by parents, schools, churches and by playing in other social groups.

To even make a friend is a risk many people will not do these days.

Social media and other devices are prompting people to choose a “bad behaviour over a good one”.

People prefer their smartphone to risking self esteem to pursue low expectations from social activities that are used as venues to pursuing greater expectations and greater risking of self-esteem necessary to overcome lonely feelings.

The “great debate” has yet to become public over issues of loneliness, but we can all agree it is costly and in epidemic proportions.

Take every risk presented to you, wherever you stand on the loneliness continuum to foster your subjective wellbeing!

Lightening Is Electricity

Know your story, he was able to make many connections across disciplines: but he devoted himself to writing the story.

He had a passion for reading, writing, thinking, dreaming and creating things or making things up to write a good story.

What a curious thing, why would light carry all the energy from one cell to the other, it is transmitting electrical current from one cloud to another and dissipating electrical energy as heat. Surely, electrical energy is in its highest state when appearing as lightening & thunder.

Who am I to beg questions about such things? How does the weather turn cold? Is cold a lower state of energy?

He made an exam out of life. He welcomed an opportunity to live and examine his own with the self styled Socratic approach of philosophy. He studied his mind to uncover the proper use of impressions.

This lightening and electricity run through the mind like it does in the clouds, from cell to cell…

Anxiety Of Being (the simple feeling)

Behavior is important when working through very complex parts of being human.

I am describing being able to express feelings, actions, thoughts, beliefs, and who we are on the regular basis.

A big part of being me is about knowing who I am.

There is a lot of awareness or noticing who I am to be the best I can be in the moment.

I’m not a sadist, vain, egotist, arrogant, belligerent or a bully.

But I get depressed, sad, sentimental, scared, afraid, tired, lonely, hungry (cravings, lustful, jealous, obsessive, and ashamed from time to time).

But, don’t we all.

I get happy, calm, bored, aloof, lazy, driven, motivated, anxious, lively, alert, clear, excited, sober, and abrupt.

I feel, think, accept, act, believe and maintain a decent state of awareness.

I struggle to be responsible in a balanced sort of way.

Therefore, I believe there is a great deal of anxiety generated from simple day to day struggles to maintain a healthy level of self -control.

So, I take every opportunity I can to deconstruct my state of anxiety to determine the best course in the moment.

I usually, journal, talk to myself, and think about the day.

I practice good habits each day.

A good one for my anxiety is to act on my best behavior whenever I am tired, lonely, hungry or angry.

I can usually control my feelings better by practicing good habits when my energy is high, moderate or low.

I tend to take things on when my energy is high or moderate but minimize my action when my energy is low.

I believe all my life is important in shaping me into a good life.

I believe in doing a good job with my ‘bad-self’.

I will always take care of myself, so I can live well and engage myself and others in a healthy way.

I guess I have been blessed with good people and support and a willingness to be a healthy person.

So, why all the hubbub about being ‘anxious’?

I want to embrace my anxiety and use this feeling to express self-control and doing no harm to myself and others.

I am learning to act in a responsible, loving way in all my affairs: living well is it’s own reward!

Best of luck to all those trying to do the same in their lives.

The Writer’s Way

Here is a top ten, daily schedule for most writers.

1. Write, write and write some more !  But the practice is not the goal.  Learning to find better ways to write is!
2. Reading is a kind of research for an expert or novice.  We learn how to be better at something by finding good product.  Find your love or idols and copy from them.  Steal the stuff from many rather than one.  Like it is said in the Artist’s Way, stealing from one is plagerism, but from many is more original.  We copy and build on what we like.  We actually use it in different ways. This list is similar to many but it focuses in on what I am or love.

3.  Journal:  there are many things that catch the eye, or somethings just come and this is good to discuss with others.  But the journal is like all of this plus a record and a piece of the writer’s routine.

4. Set up an environment:  writing times everyday like 6-7 every morning and 6-7 every night.  Keep a home office, use devices like an eReader, writers mobile table for hand writing anywhere, books and bookshelves and everything else.

5. Meditate. 30 minutes first thing in the morning and last thing a night.

6.  Rest, schedule coffee breaks and just goof off from time to time…

7.  Sleep a good 7 hours each night and set up a routine or ritual to encourage a healthy practice.

8:  Exercise:  have a good workout routine to aspire to and practice a good walk and keep mobile and active.

9.  Practice good habits to replace the bad with the end in mind:  eliminate the bad ones.  Don’t be a saint but learn to become healthier each day.

10. Be ambitious and keep your day job until you can afford to be a writer. Find ways to be the student and teacher and write each day.

What Is Being Mistaken?

I am sure good at being wrong.

I lie to myself:  cheat, steel and beg and borrow.

I judge myself in the wrong way.

I miss my own mistakes by being too close to myself.

Here are the facts:  age, height, weight, education, how I grew up, etc.

Here is the law:  my beliefs in how everything is being.

I make a lot of assumptions based on the stuff I call facts and beliefs.

Sometimes they reach up and bite me.  And/or someone who is engaged with me.

I’ve always wanted a car.

But I don’t want to make the money to buy it.

My mistake will be, I will end up with the money down the road:  I am going to use it for something better.

I still don’t have the money.

Most of my mistakes work out for the best.

I learn things about myself.

And I learn not to make the same mistakes.

I tend to grow out of my mistakes.

What have I learnt about being mistaken?

I need to make mistakes to grow.

I don’t like making mistakes at the time.

Sometimes mistakes do more harm than good.

To Learn About The Philosophy Of Mathematics

The introduction is full of ideas.

The method is much more complex.

It requires a system of knowledge that expands on the ideas and systematically requires a proof of every problem.

This is the science and the art to the philosophy of mathematics.

I have this idea that all knowledge can be known or proven mathematically:  philosophy, science, arts like language, humanities, and other inter disciplinary studies.

Currently, we are struggling to prove language mathematically, but I can see progress.  And science is full of math.

Plato said all the world is based on form.

We now believe all the world is based on forms.

We know time is arithmetic.

We know from Einstein that the universe is form or math.

Now what?

Well, object reality can be broken down to its form which are objects, even math is an object which we can use precisely to prove the universe does exist outside our minds.

Yes, we are all really here in the universe.

This is not a dream.

Funny, we all kinda new there is a reality.

But, what are the applications to all this math?

Ah, the answer to this question begs for students in Math or the Philosophy Of Mathematics!
