First Christmas card this year!
I quit looking for perfection.
Competing for success sucks when it costs you good people.
No amount of material gain makes up for pain and suffering or harm to myself or others.
I like keeping my small failures and small successes.
I’m not looking for a ditch to lay down in or some golden ring that makes me a winner.
To build a relationship with myself and others, is all about learning from success and failure, to correct my mistakes and make a life while adjusting to changes.
I believe in keeping my stuff small and manageable and building on a good foundation in all my affairs.
Kipling said it best “If you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two imposters just the same.”
Ahead of HH the Dalai Lama’s 85th birthday, here are a few quotes to take inspiration from as you make an honest effort of getting through every day.

Fans and followers everywhere have reason to celebrate the leadership, and longevity of an inspiring spiritual figure, His Holiness the Dalai Lama XIV.
To have access to more awareness and experience in today, to become part of the community growing around the world is a challenge and full of ups and downs.
But it is hard to be less than optimistic when greeting a celebration and culture that is richer and more engaging because of a time when many well wishers and good will is shared around the world.
This is not a time to omit the hardship and struggle we all bring to each day.
Teachers reflect so much we need to learn and attempt to practice in an ordinary life.
It is a kind and bright future we are directed to believe and act towards on a day to day basis.
I, for one, and many others are happy to participate in mostly a virtual way and to live our own life-‘…as you make an honest effort of getting through every day.’
When we connect with family, friends or community, there is a kind of magic.
But along with the love, there is a responsibility.
Can you see the difference, because this person/band is making a political statement that may have serious consequences.
With that said, they seem to be helping people help themselves.

I’d call any kind of emotional outburst (negative emotions) a mood swing or a bump.
With Corona, I generally get more bumps than usual.
I have made it a practice to take a mood swing or pump moment to calm down and take stalk of my state of mind.
Mental health is just as important as physical health.
Having faith in myself and others is part of my day to day well being.
When I take responsibility for an emotional or mental health problem, I am taking care of myself to do no harm.
I call it buckling in to corona. And I need help and give help to my friends, family and co-workers.
See you in the new normal!
