Loser is a term society may use to describe me….

Epictetus!

Experiencing death and dying is a lesson we all have within our lifetime.

It hurts, the pain comes in a myriad of ways.

With me it started with my senses. Things tasted bad. I lost my appetite. I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t move. I lacked power, energy, I lost weight. It is demoralizing, depressing and painful….

To value inner peace and freedom under theses conditions seem impossible or at least improbable.

This can occur when we perceive proper use of impressions, doing no harm, doing our best and being present.

Epictetus suffered like I did and it left an impression upon him which he build into a philosophy.

Although this philosophy became a practice which he taught, it allowed him to enrich his life in many ways.
