Preparing For Sleep

My lights are turned down to a minimum.

All my devices are off.

I am in my sleeping clothing and my room is in sleep mode.

I seem to respond to sleep masks, quiet, white noise and a sleep body scan to produce deeper relaxation.

My favourite Bedtime Story

When I went to sleep as a child, the ritual was “now I lay me down to sleep”.

Then I graduated to the Lords Prayer.

Now I use poems that inspire me.

As a child I loved to gaze out at the night sky or landscape and imagine.

Today, I still like to dream.

It is so important to have a good sleep routine.
