The Vacant Soul

Even within the void, the soul survives,

When all life ceases,

When the universe collapses,

But wrench away all love,

For even an instant….

There is more than a gap, or hole,

For a hole in the soul will heal,

The inconsolable are clamoring to vacate the soul,

The mighty wars are destroying what soul lies within us,

Diseases like poverty, depression, and a lack of sustenance,

Yet, as we stand clear, or when all of us have fallen, the soul will remain,

It will endure all kinds of hardships,

It will remain for eons,

But even the soul will falter,

In the darkness, in the void, beyond, there is nothing.

Deep inside this vacant place where only the soul can visit,

We can learn a lot about absenteeism, desperation, abhorrence, disgust, and resentment.

But even here the soul is free.

It is like the soul will always be of value to those who can not care for themselves or even stand to live anymore.

The soul is a hearty representative.

To extinguish the soul is beyond even our collective ability.

But to be in a state where all color fades from the eye,

All life ceases to attract,

Here is where the soul lies vacant,

But it is still waiting,

It will wait forever.

Perhaps, time will pass, and life will return.

A vacant soul awaits you.

You can return.

Strive, inch by inch, don’t give up, never say never, life is too big to go away forever,

In this sense, the soul is immortal and alive,

So if you must despair, become inconsolable,

Try, inch by inch, when the color reappears, when you can feel life in your veins again,

To rejoice, you are with your soul, try not to neglect your soul.
