The Handsome Couple

Oh, why call upon youth and beauty,

In truth, love has no mask or form,

Yet her gown, during daylight hour and him, contrasting her with being tall and dark, seem to mark the occasion,

Yet love needs no occasion or mark,

She was radiant with her hello and him with a solum nod,

Great are all couple that love, live and laugh.

And who loves the most?

There is no sum.

Perhaps love needs a calculus, but all love none the less.

So a handsome young couple seem to gesture and speak for the rest.

All is not lost, a hem on a plain dress.

Plain as love must be.
