Internet, Texting and Emails

In what ways do you communicate online?

Okay, let me just say, I prefer to be online to write, research, read and study.

But the business of living has most of us stumbling with doing multiple ‘googles’, texts, and emails.

I know pic, photography, image analysis and images for work, play and in between.

Online I do all the above but I think it is best to focus on the most important for communication.

I go on the internet to do a lot of practical day to day stuff like everybody. I was doing some banking from another bank this morning. My visa bill was too big to pay through my usual savings. So I had to go into another bank and set up a payee to make a one time payment. It took a few minutes but it was a relief when I was done. When I have the resources like in this example, communication is key.

Texting and emails may seem to go together for some people more than others but it is important to talk about texting. It is seldom necessary to use email as much as texting for communication unless it is a bit more formal.

Texting to family, friends and coworkers is a big thing. I don’t like to use my mic because of the spelling mistakes. It can be down right embarrassing with auto correct. LOL! And I need to check my spelling every time I text someone as a quick edit procedure. Really, just for clarity and doing no harm.

Lastly emails are great for keeping a record, I keep open threads for reference like everyone, but those are for texting first. With emails it is most important when I need to cc someone or ad a pic or something or link. This email is the most formal and has the most universal way to communicate. It is also the hardest to master and used the least.

Of course, all the above is a meeker example of practical use. But I am stressing communication with clarity and best practice. We all need the oversight!
