The gallstone problem seems to be related to eating too many carbs and may be corrected overtime with a higher fat low carb diet.

However, the risk of gallstone attack is higher and more likely if you eat the trigger food that results in an attack.

Some trigger foods are  egg yolks, onions and red meat.

This is a tricky problem that deserves much better scientific research.
