The Virtue Of Self

Why use selfishness to antagonize people?

Is it a sin for somebody to do what interests them?

Is selfishness or being what is of interest to you a selfish or wrong thing to do?

Take action on what you want to do now. But do no harm to yourself or others. Do your best.

We are not our brother’s keeper. But be reasonable and hold true to your convictions.

When we are selfish or do what is of interest to us, it is reasonable to believe we will do harm to ourselves and others at times. It is also reasonable to admit we might be too selfish about what we hold dear, what we love or what we do.

It means that we learn how to be virtuous with ourselves.

It needs to be uppermost in our minds to become a better virtue, we are the only ones who must be reasonable, good to ourselves and others, and do what is harmless to each other.

This conviction is necessary to hold the self up in a good way and make ourselves more virtuous.
