The History Of Apple Inc.

The ‘Two Steve’s made it happen,

“The very first Apple Computer logo, drawn by Ronald Wayne, depicts Issac Newton under an apple tree.”

The Apple I and company formed in 1971, The Byte Shop bought 50 machines @ $500 a pop.

The small crew spent day and night getting the machines together.

Jobs, Wozniak and Wayne formed Apple Computer on April 1, 1976

200 of the Apple I’s were built, then the Apple II (1977), Millions of versions sold into the 80’s,

Jobs left Apple in 1985

There were a list of mergers and acquisitions by Apple, but it was the NeXT purchase on December 10, 1996 that transitioned Apple’s big come back in 1997 through 2001.

Steve Jobs became interim CEO making the great products iPod, iPhone and iPad.  He became CEO until 2011 before resigning to deal with his long battle with pancreatic cancer that took his life on October 5, 2011.
