Distracted walking in cities can result in death.
Especially with all the politics encapsulating the problem: don’t walk because you’re right ads, distracted walking at and around intersections or construction sites, drivers using cell phones and other devices, the busy stressful city patterns and just dumb badass stuff going down in the ‘big city’.
Legislation may come to pass for pedestrians.
It’s already here in Hawaii!
There are good articles about it in the “Globe and Mail”.
But who are the pedestrians?
What are the conditions like when you walk?
Maybe, this is an area people need to practice using mindfulness?
Or just focus more and do the one thing that needs more attention.
