“Honor” in Hebrew is Kabed which means “heavy.” Is this a burden or does it mean rich? It means both to be glorious and hard. Riches are both a joy and a burden, and Kabed captures all of it.

Inheritance: The idea was our parents took care of us as children. But our older parents need us to take care of them. We need to be kabed – rich with them.

It’s gut wrenching when families are torn apart over an inheritance issue. It’s not the material things that really hurt, it is the love loss between siblings, family and friends.
