I believe the daughter is the owner now. The store is a long time resident, since 1929. They have been a family business through thick and thin. The store is now very old but has a face lift where it counts: location, location, location.
The niche in the system is worth describing but you must go see for yourself. I think you can make out the address on the pic above.
I went in and noticed it is structured like some of the elite hiking stores or bike shops in Victoria, B.C. They all use a nesting local that shows proprietary mean and purposes. It is a cosy layout and leaves plenty of merchandise for pick up and information at your finger tips. You have a friendly and informed staff that can be contacted in many ways. You may try out all your usual methods and learn something for yourself during your fishing exhibition along the way.
I still have my ideas and gift card for a visit another day.
