Reading is a skill that is taught by school and culture.

Preferably, the world of education and educators will step up to this crisis with all our blessings and enough money to get the job done.

But culture can help: read, write and journal about this lack of teaching reading skills in our schools.

  1. Culture is so important: having books in the home, or a great grandmother to teach you to read (as I did), can make all the difference, and I agree with you: it starts in a culture that values education.
